Voller Energy Group plc, one of the world's first commercial developers and manufacturers of fuel cell systems for use as auxiliary power units APU’s, battery chargers and mobile generators has ceased trading. The Company retains its AIM listing and seeks investment partners with a view to completing a “reverse takeover” under AIM rules. Any such reverse takeover would be subject to Shareholder approval and a new Admission Document would be required. The Company is also seeking offers for its intellectual property portfolio including Patent portfolio and applications and manufacturing information for Emerald. Emerald is a fully integrated power system which runs on LPG (propane or butane) which is reformed to produce Hydrogen to run the fuel cell. Emerald will deliver approximately 800 Watts of DC power into a battery bank at 12 or 24 Vdc. and the only by-products being water, CO2 and heat. The heat can be utilised by way of circulated heating water at 60oC or by blown warm air making an extremely efficient CHP system.
The manufacturing information includes fully documented parts list, supplier details, proprietary piece part drawings, 3d cad models on Pro/E, Circuit diagrams, system diagrams, PWB Gerber files, CAN bus firmware and software together with the company’s sophisticated remote or local system management software, Emerald Talk. Also included would be two new sample Emerald systems capable of running from propane gas, one of the pre-production models having run for 1000 hours and a significant quantity of component parts.
